The Rebel D/LAB is what Duotone build when cost is not the constraint, and this is the current model — the 2026 Rebel D/LAB that Duotone are selling new right now for the 26/27 season, not a superseded one. It runs Aluula D/TX in the leading edge and struts alongside Trinity TX, giving a frame that is both light and torsionally stiff, which you feel as a kite that holds its shape when powered and climbs back quickly after a loop. This one is an 8m in the C11 turquoise and grey colourway, and it has been in the air twice.
- Aluula D/TX leading edge and struts — lighter, more dynamic handling and better shape retention when powered, so the kite stays precise rather than going soft at the top of the range.
- Pulley-free bridle — Duotone removed the pulleys for 2026, giving a crisper, more direct connection through the bar so you can feel exactly where the kite is mid-jump.
- Shortened chord and refined arc — a more vertical takeoff with less sideways pull, which is what turns raw power into height rather than getting dragged downwind.
