100% Carbon and new for the 2008 season this mast combines the exotic weight advantage of a 100% carbon mast with the durability of a lower spec. product. The upper half is incredibly light but the base has been strengthened with the introduction of intermediate modulus carbon fibres with additional woven reinforcements. This mast is obviously great for the racer, but its use extends far beyond that. As a super-light mast it feels fantastic whatever your level of windsurfing ability. It's a very strong mast (providing it is not abused - see care details supplied with mast) and it's suitable for all disciplines, except wave and extreme freestyle use. It's particularly good in larger sails, making those big early planers feel like throw-about freeride rigs. Recommended for freeride, slalom and racing.
