The Rebel has been a very strong performer for 07 and 08 they have just improved on the great alround performance, the rebel is well built, and comes with a 5th line, this not only keeps the kite very stable in the air, but it also gives the rider a kite that will water launch very easily. The bar has a very long throw on it, so de-power is pretty large, there are no pulleys on the bar or kite, so you have a very direct feel when riding the kite, this is not as friendly as the North evo kite, but will take you on a very long way. We combine this kite with the Crazy fly 138cm board, the Crazyfly alround is the ideal board for the beginner intermediate who does not want to have to change board in the near future, the rails are super thin and sharp giving great grip and control, and the tips are soft, allowing great control as you get well powered up.
