The F-one now with a 25% smaller leading front edge fly's a little further to the front of the wind as you get over powered, this helps upwind and also makes the kite feel more comfortable in good gusty winds, The Bandit 5 with the smaller leading edge now has reduced the canopy in weight so the kite feels lighter in the hands.The central strut is still secured in to the canopy, to give the centre of the kite a solid feel, yet the quarter struts have been stitched on in a more conventional way so letting the struts flex with the canopy, and this helps the kite turn faster. The briddles have also been tweaked to give the kite a wider wind range. Over all the F-one Bandit has been redesigned completely and you will now find the bandit V better in the gusts, smoother even in the harshest winds, the kite turns faster, whilst giving better low end grunt, yet better top end even in strong squally winds.

To further increase the Bandit 5's range, F-One needed both a kite that you could easily power up in the low end anda kite that was even more forgiving in strong and gusty conditions.

Lightness:
In order to improve its performance when under powered, and add to the ease of use at the bottom end its lightness was a priority.

Handling:
To immediately position the kite where you want it, to precisely manage its rotation during a kiteloop, and to have the most responsive kite in larger sizes, its maneuverability is crucial. This is why we have focused our attention on this particular aspect.
